DistilaMax MW is their product, almost certainly one of the yeasts above.

A company called White Star makes distillation yeast too. I have used a few of their products. They can be found in small quantities of 100g and 500g online. Amazon no less.

SafSpirit is a third option. 500g bricks of malt whisky yeast are sold on Amazon.

Also check eBay. Once in a while you will find Distilamax MW and RM (rum) on there. Tho' they can't speak to us, like all other life here and beyond, they communicate nonetheless through the language of chemistry. A language all living, non-living, and all forms in between, speak in quiet confidence.Chuck Dhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11329435210136993649noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6589381127632649854.post-16454056943008376472015-07-13T20:35:24.720+03:002015-07-13T20:35:24.720+03:00Great post! On a side note, do you think Japanese and Taiwanese distillers use local yeast for their distilling process? Maybe something similar to the likes of koji or 'jiubing' might be used to give a more asian feel to their whiskies?Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6589381127632649854.post-1092403701804267842013-02-16T01:01:26.391+02:002013-02-16T01:01:26.391+02:00Saw some "Original DCL M Strain" from Ke...Saw some "Original DCL M Strain" from Kerry at Tullibardine this week.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6589381127632649854.post-91262929523777291112012-07-24T11:35:11.406+03:002012-07-24T11:35:11.406+03:00Wow. I've studied a fair bit about the different strains of ale yeasts that I use regularly, but I'm sure as I do more with distilling I will be referring back to this post again and again.

Thank youFall-linehttp://fall-line.comnoreply@blogger.com
